Tim Grotheer
Tim Grotheer is the brain of GOTY (Growth Over The Years) Tech.
With over 20 years of technology experience, spanning supply chain, privacy, security, financial, call center, and loan servicing systems, Tim has experience in executing and leading full stack engineering, security, infrastructure, and enterprise applications across both legacy and modern environments, navigating both waterfall and agile methodologies.
He has overseen multiple technology departments, driving the adoption of agile practices that have resulted in significant process and cost improvements. His expertise includes test-driven development, CI/CD pipelines, iterative development, and DevSecOps.
He has also been a website manager for 20 plus years while overseeing content, functionality, updates and user experience across multiple sites, platforms and hosting providers.
Holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Information Technology, he excels at bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions to drive secure and efficient outcomes.
He loves spending time with his (and Sara's!) three children
Sara Grotheer
Sara Grotheer is the heart of GOTY (Growth Over The Years) Tech.
She is an operations-driven business leader with more than 20 years of experience scaling complex, multi-unit organizations and driving strategic growth initiatives. She brings deep expertise in mergers and acquisitions, franchise development, compliance, and cross-functional execution, with a proven track record of delivering measurable financial results.
She has led more than 100 mergers, acquisitions, and ownership transitions in a four-year period building scalable frameworks that improved due diligence, compliance, and stakeholder communication across legal, operations, finance, and executive leadership teams.
Earlier in her career, Sara managed 7 regions, 58 clubs, and over 550 indirect reports delivering operational excellence for approximately 400,000 members.
With a foundation in Business Administration and Organizational Leadership, Sara combines business intuition, operational rigor, and a passion for health and wellness to help organizations scale sustainably, optimize performance, and execute with confidence.
